This charming mid-century ranch home was purchased by its owners after retirement to be closer to family. Built in the 1960s, the home had been a rental for many years and was in need of significant updates. Our team helped the homeowners transform their outdated kitchen into a modern, functional space that fits their lifestyle.

Using Chief Architect, we provided detailed design plans, 3D renderings, and virtual walkthroughs to ensure the clients felt confident in their choices, from layout to color combinations. The entire kitchen was gutted, and we reconfigured the layout to enhance functionality, including relocating plumbing fixtures and moving the doorway to optimize the flow of the space.

With grandchildren visiting often, seating was a priority. We added a bar counter with hidden supports, offering both a casual dining area and additional serving space. Attention to detail extended beyond the kitchen—knowing the home sat on a crawl space, we replaced the cumbersome 30-50 lb. crawl space door with a hinged lid assist, making access much easier and the entryway more visually subtle.

The remodel included new LVP flooring, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, updated fixtures, and modern appliances. We also converted the original exterior door into a 6-foot sliding glass door, flooding the kitchen with natural light and creating a more open, inviting atmosphere.
